BLEEDING THROUGH: Headlining Tour Selling Out
February 25, 2006BLEEDING THROUGH's headlining tour has reportedly sold out every date so far (eight shows). Among the sold out shows is The Avalon in Los Angeles which had over 1,300 paid tickets and saw KILLSWITCH ENGAGE vocalist Howard Jones join the band for guest vocals and AFI's Davey Havok in the pit. The band sold out a two-night stay at The Pound in San Francisco (which reportedly saw MACHINE HEAD's Robert Flynn "enthusiastically singing along to the band's performance," according to a press release),Neumo's in Seattle, Loveland in Portland and The Venue in Boise. This is a trend that is continuing on the remaining 30+ shows that runs until the beginning of April with advance tickets flying fast for many dates.
The Orange County-based sextet's new full-length album, "The Truth" (on Trustkill Records) has sold 43,000 copies in the United States since its January 10 release. The follow-up to 2003's "This Is Love, This Is Murderous" was produced by Rob Caggiano (CRADLE OF FILTH, ANTHRAX).
BLEEDING THROUGH recently shot a video for the track "Kill to Believe" with director Zach Merck (LACUNA COIL, CONVERGE). BLEEDING THROUGH frontman Brandon Schieppati had previously told MTV.com that the video was going to be story-based — a sort of " 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' meets 'The Devil's Rejects' " — interlaced with performance footage of the band.
Schieppati has been announcing at various shows on the group's current tour that the band have secured a slot at this year's Ozzfest, although this has yet to be officially confirmed by the festival organizers.
